To mark the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 and the upcoming International Day of Cooperatives (July 5) and the 4th Foundation Day of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India (July 6), the Department of Cooperation, Rajasthan, organized an insightful exhibition titled “Journey of Cooperation: From Past to Present” at Nehru Sahakar Bhawan.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Manju Rajpal, Principal Secretary & Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Rajasthan.

Organized by the department’s publicity section, the exhibition captures the rich legacy and growth of the cooperative movement, from its roots in ancient Indian ethos to its present relevance in Rajasthan. The displays include milestones such as the beginning of cooperatives globally and in India, the evolution of cooperative laws in Rajasthan, and the state’s three-tier cooperative structure.
Various institutions like CONFED, TRIFED, IFFCO, KRIBHCO, and Tilam Sangh also set up stalls. Ms. Rajpal also planted a sapling under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.
