Rajasthan’s Minister of Cooperation and Civil Aviation (Independent Charge), Gautam Kumar Dak, addressed trainee officers undergoing foundation training at the Rajasthan Institute of Cooperative Education and Management (RAICEM), Jaipur, emphasising the transformative role of cooperatives in strengthening the rural economy.
In his address, Dak highlighted that the cooperative movement forms the backbone of rural economic development and plays a crucial role in ensuring inclusive growth.
He urged officers from services including cooperation, prisons, industries, and labour welfare to uphold transparency, accountability, and integrity in public service.
The minister stressed the importance of field exposure, noting that real assessment of schemes comes from on-ground experience rather than paperwork. He encouraged regular field visits and direct engagement with beneficiaries to ensure effective implementation.
Dak also underscored initiatives such as PACS computerisation, expansion of digital services, and the world’s largest grain storage scheme. RAICEM Director Sanjay Kumar Pathak briefed participants on the institute’s training programmes.
