Rajasthan celebrated the inaugural day of the All India Cooperative Week with the grand opening of the three-day “Sahakar Mela 2025” at Gandhi Ground in Udaipur.

The event has been organized by the State Cooperative Department under the leadership of Rajasthan Cooperation Minister Gautam Dak, to showcase the growing strength, diversity and achievements of the cooperative movement.

The fair features an impressive display of high-quality products developed by various cooperative societies, including premium spices, Ayurvedic and herbal items, handicrafts, and other locally made goods that highlight Rajasthan’s vibrant cooperative ecosystem.

During the inaugural ceremony, e-Mitra operators were provided Micro-ATMs to enhance digital service delivery across rural and semi-urban regions. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed to cooperative societies that have demonstrated outstanding performance.

The programme witnessed the presence of several prominent leaders, including Udaipur MP Manna Lal Rawat, MLA Phool Chand Meena, District President Gajpal Singh Rathore, Dehat District President Pushkar Teli, former Kapasan MLA Badri Lal Jat, and Rajasthan Apex Bank MD Sanjay Pathak, along with senior officials of the cooperative department.

The “Sahakar Mela 2025” is expected to attract significant public participation over the next three days, providing cooperatives with a strong platform to promote their products, strengthen market linkages and underline their role in rural economic empowerment.
