Minister of State for Cooperatives, Gautam Kumar Dak, announced relaxed norms for setting up multipurpose village service cooperative societies in Rajasthan, media reports say.
The minimum member requirement is now 150 instead of 300, and the share capital has been reduced to Rs 1.5 lakh from Rs 3 lakh. Security deposits have also been lowered.
