At the 40th Annual General Meeting of the Rajasthan State Cooperative Consumer Federation (Confed), Principal Secretary, Cooperation Department, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, and Confed Administrator Smt. Manju Rajpal highlighted the significant opportunities available for cooperatives to expand their business operations.

She said the state government is committed to financially strengthening cooperative institutions and encouraged them to introduce new activities aimed at generating profits and creating employment opportunities.

Speaking at Nehru Sahakar Bhavan, Rajpal praised Confed’s performance, noting that it achieved a turnover of Rs 1,137 crore and a profit of Rs 26.94 crore in 2025–26. She also announced that a 7.5% dividend would be distributed to member societies for 2023–24.

Rajpal emphasised that Rajasthan ranks first in the country in millet production and the government is actively promoting millet outlets through cooperatives. A total of 201 outlets have been opened so far, surpassing the target, and the initiative has also been appreciated at the North Zonal Council meeting.

She added that Confed will further expand the millet outlet network and explore new activities such as custom hiring centres and FPOs. Outstanding cooperative societies and Confed employees were felicitated on the occasion.
