PTI quotes an official statement saying the Gehlot govt in Rajasthan has formed a cabinet sub-committee to suggest steps for improving the functioning of all cooperative societies in the state.
The committee will carry out an in-depth study of a whole gamut of problems affecting the entire cooperative sector.
Several senior cabinet ministers including the cooperative minister are the members of the committee.
Sources familiar with cooperative affairs say the Gehlot govt. initiative will go a long way in strengthening the cooperative movement in Rajasthan.
