The office of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Rajasthan has approved the construction of 500 metric tonne capacity warehouses for two cooperative societies under the Budget Announcement 2025–26 aimed at strengthening rural storage infrastructure.
According to the approval order, warehouses will be constructed at GSS Dhani Neherawali in Rawatsar block of Hanumangarh district and GSS Itmaria in Shahpura block of Bhilwara district. Each warehouse will be built with an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh.
The initiative forms part of the state government’s plan to construct warehouses in 100 Kray-Vikray and Gram Seva Cooperative Societies across Rajasthan to improve agricultural storage facilities.
The order states that the Managing Director of the concerned Central Cooperative Bank and the respective Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies will act as nodal officers for implementation. The respective cooperative societies will serve as the executing agencies for the construction of warehouses and office buildings.
