Senior IAS officer Anandhi (2007), who was serving as Commissioner of the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), has been appointed as Secretary and Registrar of the Rajasthan Cooperative Department. She replaces Ms. Manju Rajpal in the new assignment.
During her tenure at JDA, Anandhi earned wide appreciation for her dynamic leadership. She was instrumental in launching several housing schemes and expanding the operational limits of the Jaipur Development Authority, giving a boost to planned urban growth.
Her strong push for online services helped reduce pendency and improved transparency and efficiency in the authority’s functioning.
Anandhi is a 2007-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Born on March 1, 1982, in Tamil Nadu, she holds a B.A. and LL.B. from Delhi University and an M.A. from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Known for her professionalism and result-oriented approach, her career reflects wide administrative experience.
She has served in diverse roles including District Collector in several districts such as Udaipur, Alwar, Rajsamand, Bundi and Sawai Madhopur, Commissioner of Jodhpur Development Authority, Managing Director of RAJFED, Secretary in IT & Communication and Mines & Petroleum departments, and Commissioner of School Education.
With her new role, expectations are high that Anandhi will further strengthen Rajasthan’s cooperative sector through efficient administration and reforms.
