Rajasthan’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday caught a cooperative inspector in Jaipur while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 2.75 lakh, reports PTI.
Officials said the inspector had demanded the money from a complainant in return for facilitating the lifting of stay orders on two housing society plots.
After tracking the accused for nearly 20 kilometres, the ACB team intercepted and apprehended him, recovering the bribe amount.
