Raj Bank mourns death of three officials

The Co-operative Bank of Rajkot suffered a major loss when three of its senior officials were killed in a road accident Friday late night in Rajkot. They died after their car rammed into a luxury bus after tyre burst near Doliya boundary in Sayla on Ahmedabad-Rajkot highway. The deceased were Vishwesh Vaishnav, DGM, Sajjan Patel-AGM and Rajesh Solanki-Assistant.

A highly perturbed Kamalbhai Dhami who is the Chief Development Officer of the UCB wrote “Sorry to know you all that last night in one of the fatal accidents RajBank pariwar has lost its valuable and priceless assets in the form of three key employees.”

“Nothing can compensate us for our loss and we all pray God for their souls to rest in peace in heaven,” Dhami said.

Only recently had Indiancooperative.com posted a story on the UCB stating how the Co-operative Bank of Rajkot popularly known as Raj Bank has earned a profit of Rs 32 crore this year by sticking to core professional principles.

Such individuals like Vishwesh Vaishnav, Sajjan Patel and Rajesh Solanki were behind the success of the bank, said Dhami. According to police, the deceased persons had gone to Maharashtra where Raj Bank has opened a new branch office.

Established in 1980 under the leadership of late Ramnikbhai Dhami, the Co-operative Bank of Rajkot has has made remarkable progress and never looked back.
