Election season is not good for carrying cash and this one of DCCBs of Madhya Pradesh learnt hard way.
Police say Rs two crore cash belonging to district cooperative bank, Raisen Madhya Pradesh was found in a vehicle in Bilkheria area during vehicle checking drive by police as per the Election Commission’s directives.
The cash was returned to the bank following verification and banks have been warned against transporting big amounts of money during the run up to the parliamentary poll, police said.
