Purabi Dairy, the largest dairy cooperative in Northeast India, added another landmark to its growing retail network with the inauguration of a new Milk Booth at Nehru Park, one of Guwahati’s most popular public spaces.
The booth was inaugurated on November 20 by Jogen Mohan, Minister of Cooperation and Transport, Government of Assam, in the presence of Anant Lal Gyani (IAS) and other senior officials and dignitaries.
The new outlet is part of Purabi Dairy’s strategic plan to enhance consumer access to fresh, high-quality milk and dairy products across urban centres in Assam.
With increasing demand for hygienically processed and packaged dairy items, the cooperative aims to strengthen its direct-to-consumer presence while supporting local milk producers through better market linkages.
