The State Cooperative Bank Employees Federation Punjab, employees of Central Cooperative Banks held a protest against the Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab demanding implementation of the 6th Pay Commission recommendations, reports Tribune.
A source is quoted as saying employees of eight Central Cooperative Banks took part in the protest. It is said employees of the remaining central banks would protest from November 14.
The employees’ protest would continue till the 6th Pay Commission report is implemented.
