Pune People’s Co-operative Bank has achieved a major milestone by winning five prestigious awards at the 3rd National Urban Cooperative Banking Summit & Awards 2026, held at Hotel Conrad Pune.

The summit was jointly organised by Pune Urban Cooperative Banks Association Ltd and Acme Infomedia. The bank was honoured with the “Best Multi-State Urban Co-op Bank” award. Chairman Shridhar Gaikwad, along with senior officials, received the award.

Gaikwad was also named “Best Chairperson of the Year.” Other recognitions included awards to Mohan Thorat for Risk & Compliance, Kailas Pawar as Best CISO, and Ghanshyam Sanas for Treasury Management.

The bank reported total business of Rs 3,063 crore for FY 2025–26, with deposits of Rs 1,841 crore and advances of Rs 1,222 crore. Notably, it maintained zero net NPA and a CD ratio of 66.41%.

With plans to open three new branches and expand beyond Maharashtra, the bank continues to strengthen its growth trajectory, driven by customer trust, technology adoption, and transparent operations.
