The Pune District Central Cooperative Bank (PDCC Bank) has issued an appeal to all regular crop loan borrowers across the district, urging them to repay their outstanding crop loans before March 30, 2026.

The appeal comes in the wake of a recent budget announcement by the government, which introduced incentive-based benefits for members who maintain a consistent record of timely loan repayments. The initiative is aimed at encouraging financial discipline among borrowers and strengthening the cooperative credit system.

Meanwhile, Digambar Durgade, Chairman of PDCC Bank, and Sunil Chandere, Vice Chairman, have also released a separate video message urging farmers to repay their crop loans on time and take advantage of the government’s incentive schemes.

In its statement, the bank emphasized that farmers should not wait for potential loan waiver schemes. Instead, they are encouraged to clear their current crop loan dues within the stipulated deadline and extend cooperation to the bank.

PDCC Bank further highlighted that borrowers who continue to remain regular in their repayments will be eligible to avail benefits under various government schemes, including interest subsidy programs and other financial assistance initiatives.
