As a scam involving Rs 73 crore has broken in Shivajirao Bhosale Cooperative Bank in Pune. depositors of the bank are not able to withdraw their money reports Hindustan Times.
The depositors of the scam hit bank have formed an organization called Kruti Samiti to fight for their interests. They have recently also held a press conference voicing their grievances.
The depositors will meet chief minister Uddhav Thackeray and also hold protest demonstrations outside the state assembly. The bank has 12 branches in Pune district and about a lakh account holders.
