A huge scam involving the use of fake degrees to obtain promotion in cooperative banks in Rajasthan has come to light. Ordinary employees as well as higher officers have already got promotion through fake degrees.
It has been found that the exam dates of degrees used agree with dates when employees were present on duty in the office. The whole scam came to light when cooperative registrar ordered an inquiry into the use of fake degrees in getting promotion in Sikar.
When grilled about it, the accused in Sikar revealed that the illegal behavior was not limited to Sikar to the whole of Rajasthan.
Rattled by the development, cooperative registrar ordered a thorough inquiry into the matter and issued instructions for immediate recovery of additional salaries from the erring employees.
