A prayer meeting was organized for paying tributes to the Uttarakhand veteran cooperator and IFFCO and NCUI board member late Pramod Kumar Singh in Dehradun on Sunday. Readers would recall that Singh died of Covid-19 earlier this year.
IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi also went to Dehradun to pay his tributes to the departed soul and pray for his eternal peace.
In his tweet, MD wrote, “Today, I attended the prayer meeting & paid my tributes to Late Sh. Pramod Kumar Singh, Former Director, #IFFCO on his death anniversary in Dehradun. He was an eminent cooperator who contributed a lot in the development of coops in India. May god rest his soul in peace. Om Shanti”.
Singh was well-known in cooperative circles and due to his amiability and mild manners, he was loved by one and all. He has been credited for doing many good works for the development of the cooperative sector.
