The members of the committee for preparing the draft of National Cooperative Policy will brief Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah today (Monday) at the Atal Akshay Urja bhawan, New Delhi.
The drafting team led by former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu will meet Shah in the evening.
The NCP drafting committee members to meet Shah include NCUI President Dileep Sanghani, RBI Central Board Director Satish Marathe, NAFCUB Chairman Jyotindra Mehta, UP Principal Secretary Cooperation B L Meena, Prakash Naiknavare, MD of NFCSF, Dr C Pichai, Dr Umakant Das from IRMA and Dr Hema Yadav, Director Vamnicom and some others.
Sources privy to the matter say, after this meeting, the draft on NCP will be submitted to the Ministry of Cooperation soon.
It bears recalling that the meeting was scheduled for last week but due to Shah’s last minute preoccupations it was postponed.
