Despite complaints galore against Firoza Bano, former Chairperson of Rajasthan based Rajlaxmi Mahila Urban Co Operative Bank, the police have so far failed to arrest her.

There are cases against her in several police stations of the state. She is accused of taking loans from different banks on the basis of bogus papers.

According to the Iqbal, Chief Executive Officer of Rajlaxmi Mahila Urban Cooperative Bank, “Firoz Bano has taken loan from the UCB, Bank of Maharashtra, Bank of Patiala, State Bank of India and many others on the basis of fake papers.”

Iqbal underlined that Police have not yet arrested Firoz Bano despite several reminders. It is giving rise to a feeling if the government is serious on the issue, he added.
