Telangana based Pochampally Cooperative Urban Bank has inaugurated its new, modern headquarters in Bhoodan Pochampally.
The headquarters, equipped with advanced infrastructure, is set to enhance the bank’s operational capabilities and customer service outreach.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Telangana’s Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation Thummala Nageshwara Rao.
Commending the bank’s continued efforts, the Minister stated, “This new headquarters is a symbol of progress and commitment. It will enable the bank to innovate and provide more accessible and efficient financial services to farmers, weavers, women, and small businesses.”
He further urged the bank to adopt a more proactive role in rural development, particularly by promoting sustainable agricultural practices and encouraging self-reliance among beneficiaries. The Minister assured full support from the state government in these initiatives.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Bank Chairman Tadaka Ramesh, Seetha Srinivas, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy (MP), District Collector Hanmantha Rao, NAFCUB Director Madan Gopala Swamy, along with local officials, board members, and bank staff—highlighting strong support for the bank’s expanding role in the region’s economic development.
Pochampally Cooperative Urban Bank currently has a business mix exceeding Rs 400 crore and operates a network of 11 branches, according to a press release from the bank.
