In a first of its kind, Punjab & Maharashtra Co-operative Bank has announced launching of Sapphire Savings Account in which the UCB offers special discount.
In a press release the Bank says” We are pleased to launch a special saving account i.e. “Sapphire Savings Account”. Open a Sapphire Savings Account with Rs. 2.00 Lakh & Earn interest upto 6% p.a.with dedicated Relationship Manager plus many more privileges.
Interest is paid on total outstanding when balance Rs. 2.00 Lakh or more is maintained, claims the release. It also mentions benefits like Earn interest @ 6% p.a.* on daily balance of Rs. 2 lakh and above, Free Personalized cheque book of 120 leaves in a financial year, Access to banking through Internet, ATM and Free Mobile Banking facility.
PMC Bank also offers free Platinum VISA Debit card with enhanced daily purchase limit of Rs. 2 lakh and daily ATM cash withdrawal limit of Rs. 0.50 lakh as well as free unlimited Demand Drafts and Pay orders.
There is also waiver of charges on NEFT and RTGS. The other benefits include Waiver of charges for opening 3 in 1 account and 50% share of brokerage, Premium loyalty points on spends and special occasions, Accidental insurance cover on the life of the primary holder of Platinum VISA debit card to the extent of Rs. 2 lakh, ATM transactions, financial and non financial at non PMC Bank ATM (Metro or non-Metro) are free to the extent of 10 transactions per month.
It also promises dedicated Relationship Manager.
