In a bid to provide services to villagers living in the high Himalayan region, Uttarakhand based Pithoragarh District Cooperative Bank launched a mobile ATM van with the assistance of NABARD on Wednesday.
The bank’s Chairman Manoj Samant flagged off the ATM van in the presence of bank’s GM Manohar Singh Bhandari and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Samant said that an ATM van has begun operating. This van has made things convenient for the general public during the Covid period.
The bank has got one more van in collaboration with NABARD. The van will be operated in remote and unbanked areas of the district. The van will offer customers both deposit and withdrawal facilities.
