Gujarat based Pipalav Milk Producers’ Cooperative Society has been honoured with the Regional Cooperative Excellence and Merit Award 2025 by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) under the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India.
The award was presented by IFFCO Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani and Kheda DCCB Chairman Tejasbhai Patel, and was received on behalf of the Society by Secretary Ghanshyambhai Patel. The felicitation ceremony was organized by NCDC’s Regional Directorate, Gandhinagar recently.
Established in 1958, the Pipalav Milk Producers’ Cooperative Society has emerged as a key driver of socio-economic growth in Anand district. Under the dynamic leadership of Chairman Tejaskumar B. Patel, who has been serving for the past 15 years, the Society has consistently demonstrated financial discipline and operational transparency, maintaining an ‘A’ grade audit rating for over 40 years.
Currently supplying 5,000 litres of milk daily to Amul Dairy, the Society ensures fair and remunerative prices for its members while also distributing up to 27% annual bonus to milk producers.
Chairman Patel emphasized the importance of indigenous cattle rearing, biogas generation, and organic fertilizer production under the Swachh Bharat Mission to create sustainable income sources and protect the environment.
He dedicated the award to the relentless efforts of the Society’s members, employees, and managing committee, whose collective vision continues to make Pipalav a model for cooperative excellence in India.
