Pilibhit DCCB holds AGM; vows to focus on recovery

Uttar Pradesh based Pilibhit District Cooperative Bank organized its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday at the Gandhi Auditorium where bank’s secretary Alok Gupta presented the annual report before the delegates.

The bank has disbursed short-term loans of around Rs 312 crore to the member societies during the 2018-19 financial year, Gupta said.

On the occasion, several decisions were taken including launching of mobile banking scheme, modernizing the branches of the bank and others. It also decided to run the loan recovery campaign against the borrowers.

In his speech, Chairman of the bank Suman Gangwar expressed satisfaction over the bank activities and said the bank has received ‘A’ category from Nabard. The credit goes to the entire team which keeps making efforts to take the bank to newer heights.

BJP District President Sanjiv Pratap Singh, former state minister Vinod Tiwari, the bank Vice-Chairman Dr Surendra Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
