Sharad Pawar’s daughter and a Member of Parliament from Maharashtra, Supriya Sule is active in rescuing the interest of depositors of the beleaguered PMC bank. Several depositors have called her a messiah.
On Tuesday, Sule requested Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to expedite the procedure for the merger of the PMC bank branches.
She tweeted, “Requesting Hon. @nsitharaman Ji to expedite the procedure for the merger of these Bank Branches. Let us work together to help the PMC Bank Depositors”.
The proposal for the merger of PMC bank branches with the MSC bank has been sent to RBI and Nitin Gadkari has written a letter about the same, Supriya Sule reminded the Union Finance Minister.
Meanwhile, several cooperators are asking when Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will break her silence on the issue.
Earlier, Supriya Sule had a meeting with the PMC depositors through video conferencing.
