Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has urged the Central govt. to raise the limit for Nafed for procuring onions from Maharashtra, reports PTI.
Pawar has sent a letter to the central govt. making this demand.
According to Pawar, Maharashtra has had a bumper production of onions.
It is worth mentioning that the corona pandemic has badly affected the purchase of onions.
