Karnataka-based Siddhasiri Multi State Multi Purpose Co-Operative Society has announced its new leadership, with Ramangouda Patil elected as Chairman and Prabhugouda Desai as Vice-Chairman following the latest elections.
The appointments have received formal approval from the Cooperative Election Authority under the Union Ministry of Cooperation.
The society, which recently transitioned into a multi-state cooperative, has emerged as one of the fastest-growing cooperative institutions in southern India. Earlier, it operated under a Karnataka-based cooperative framework before expanding its footprint across states.
Founded on May 29, 2006, Siddhasiri has witnessed remarkable growth over the past 19 years. The society currently manages deposits of Rs 4,768 crore and advances of Rs 3,559 crore, reflecting its strong financial base and expanding outreach.
With a workforce of around 1,300 employees and a network of over 620 pigmy agents, the society continues to deepen its grassroots presence while scaling operations.
The leadership change comes at a time when Siddhasiri is accelerating its growth trajectory and strengthening its position in the multi-state cooperative space.
