The 51st AGM of co-op titan also saw the bestowing of co-op awards on two corporators who have led their lives upholding co-op ideals. The IFFCO Sahakarita Ratna Award was given to Raman Patel and the Sahakarita Bandhu Award was bestowed on Bharat Tripathy.
Patel is a co-operator from Gujarat who has put in more than 52 years in the co-op sector. Active in various sectors within the co-op fold, Patel thanked the IFFCO Board for giving him the award.

Recipient of the Sahakarita Bandhu Award, Bharat Tripathy referred to the IFFCO MD and said Awasthi has made us walk with confidence in life. “I have been with the co-operative since the time when people would look sideways if you introduce yourself but now the scene has changed”, said Tripathy.
“With the arrival of Awasthi on the IFFCO scene in 1993, things started to change. Starting from the piece of pant-shirt as an AGM gift, he began to introduce better items, and today a gold coin is given to each RGB member”, said Tripathy.
The two awards carry a citation and Rs 11 lac cash each.
