Hindu quotes newly elected Telangana State Cooperative Bank (TSCOB) chairman K Ravinder Rao as saying the state Government would soon set up cooperative recruitment board for selecting people for positions in the cooperative sector.
Mr Rao was addressing a gathering of top cooperative functionaries at Karimnagar after becoming the TSCOB chairman.
According to Mr. Rao, the state govt has decided to strengthen the cooperative sector as a movement for the benefit of farmers and the villagers. Towards this end, all grassroots cooperative organizations including Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) would be given special support in the next days, Mr. Rao claimed.
Karimnagar MP B Vinod Kumar and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
