The Centre is moving ahead with integration of the PACS ERP system with multiple state and national platforms to streamline agricultural credit and improve service delivery, Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah informed in Rajya Sabha.
In a written reply, the Minister said the PACS Computerisation Project provides for integration of ERP software with services offered by states and other portals. Proposals for such integration have already been received from nine states, including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
The Ministry has initiated steps to link PACS systems with platforms such as land records, public distribution systems, procurement portals and cooperative databases across states. Additionally, PACS ERP is being integrated with national initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samriddhi Kendras, Common Service Centres and Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
The integration is expected to enhance transparency through real-time data flow, strengthen accountability via digital audit trails, and ensure faster service delivery to farmers.
It will also improve operational efficiency by reducing duplication, minimizing errors and streamlining workflows across the cooperative ecosystem.
