The Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar PACS Union Chairman Lekhraj Taneja wrote a letter to the Uttarakhand Cooperative Registrar regarding helping in getting the membership to the cooperative societies of Udhamsingh Nagar in the consumer cooperative.
In his letter he wrote, “Earlier, the co-ops of Udhamsingh Nagar were the members of Nainital District Cooperative Consumer Stores but after the formation of cooperative consumer store at Udhamsingh Nagar, the provision of making local co-ops as members is not there and no instruction has been given by the cooperative department in this connection”.
“Many co-ops have shown willingness to become members and necessary action should be taken from the cooperative department in helping them become members of the Udhamsingh Nagar consumer store”, his letter reads.
