PACS Chairman sent to RI in Bihar

According to a news report coming in from Biraul in Darbhanga district of Bihar, the district session court has sentenced PACCS Chairman Satish Kumar Rai to a rigorous imprisonment for his involvement in gross mismanagement of the govt. fund and for swindling money in the name of farmers.

The court sentenced him under Section 409 and Section 420. He will be in jail for 6 years and pay a penalty of Rs 20 thousand. He was the Chairman of Dekuli Jagarnathpur PACCS.

Rai has been accused of siphoning off Rs 39.93 lakh. Advocate Baccha Rai was representing the PACCS Chairman.

It bears recall that in 2016, the chairman of PACCS had purchased 2746 quintal paddy for distributing in Kharif season.
