PACS Chairman killed in Bihar

Ahead of the panchayat elections, PACS Chairman Pawan Gupta  was killed by four motorbike-borne criminals. Gupta hailed from Matiarawa Kothi village in East Champaran , reports TOI.

One of the criminals was caught by the villagers and handed over to the police.

Police say the arrested criminal Anil Sahni has confessed to the murder disclosing that he was given the contract to kill Gupta’s by his rival Surendra Singh, the Mukhiya of Matiariya gram panchayat.

Both Anil Sahni and Surendra Singh have been remanded in judicial custody, according to the police.
