The Ministry of Commerce and Business Development, Fiji, in partnership with the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) – Asia & Pacific, will host the Pacific Regional Dialogue from January 28 to 30 in Nadi, Fiji.
The event, themed “Cooperatives as Drivers of the Blue-Green Economy in the Pacific”, aims to highlight the role of cooperatives in promoting economic empowerment and ensuring food security across the region.
The dialogue will feature a Keynote Address by Esrom Immanuel, Minister of Finance, Commerce, and Business Development, Fiji, and a Welcome Address by Peni Sikivou, Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce & Business Development. The Inaugural Address will be delivered by Balasubramanian Iyer, Regional Director, ICA-Asia & Pacific.
Co-funded by the European Union, the dialogue will bring together cooperative leaders, policymakers, and development partners to exchange best practices and strengthen regional cooperation.
