Brihan Mumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks Association Mumbai (an Association of Co-operative Banks) held their Award Function recently in Mumbai and awarded Model Co-operative Bank the first prize for overall best performance for the Financial Year 2015-2016.
The award function was attended by Senior Management and Directors from co-operative banks.
The Association President Dattaram Chalke, the Chairman of Apna Sahakari bank presented the award.
The model cooperative bank has its roots in the Mangalorean Catholic Co-operative Credit Society which was registered in 1916. The bank has completed 100 years of its foundation and is proud to receive this award in recognition of its excellent services.
“The Bank is likely to attain Schedule Status soon. This is the fourth consecutive year the bank has been awarded Best Bank Award by the Brihan Mumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks Association, Mumbai”, claims a press release from the UCB.
