Odisha government will give a cash reward of Rs 25,000 to those PACS that have had the most excellent performance under ‘cooperative at your doorstep’ campaign launched by the state government, reports Express News Service.
The cash incentive is aimed to motivate farmers into taking crop loans from cooperative credit institutions.
The campaign went on for two months. Sources say the cooperative dept enrolled a large number of new members who could avail institutional finance in days ahead.
