According to local news outlets, a 15 day campaign “Touch the PACS” will start from May 20 (tomorrow) in Odisha with an aim to top state officials acquainting themselves with the functioning of PACS and LAMPS.
Principal Secretary Cooperation has issued necessary instructions to all Divisional DRCSs and Circle ARCSs. The campaign will last half a month.
The visit will involve PACS as well as Large Size Adivasi Multi- Purpose Cooperative Societies functioning at the last tier of the Short Term Credit Cooperative Structure (STCCS) giving short term loans.
