Odisha celebrated the 72nd All India Cooperative Week with great enthusiasm on Friday as the State Cooperative Department and the Odisha State Cooperative Union jointly organized a Mass Run to promote cooperative values and community participation.
The event witnessed the active involvement of students, youth groups, senior cooperative leaders and officers from across the state.
The Mass Run was formally inaugurated by State Cooperation Minister Pradeep Bal Samant and Cooperation Secretary Rajesh Prabhakar Patil, who highlighted the importance of strengthening the cooperative sector at the grassroots level.
They emphasized that cooperatives play a crucial role in improving the economic condition of farmers, small entrepreneurs and local producers across Odisha and the nation.
The event reflected the spirit of unity and youth engagement, setting a vibrant tone for the week-long celebrations.
