The NSD Winter Theatre Festival 2025 concluded on a high note at the NCUI Auditorium, Siri Fort Road, after three days of vibrant performances that reaffirmed the appeal of contemporary Hindi theatre. Organised jointly by the National School of Drama (NSD) and the NCUI Auditorium and Convention Centre, the festival was held from December 26 to 28 and witnessed enthusiastic participation from theatre lovers across South Delhi.
The festival was inaugurated by Vijendra Gupta, Speaker of the Delhi Vidhan Sabha, who underscored the social relevance of theatre and its enduring role as a medium of reflection and dialogue in contemporary society.


Organised in association with Delhi Tourism, the festival was co-sponsored by Power Gilt, HUDCO and LIC, while Delhi Times and Navbharat Times served as media partners. Several prominent guests, including Om Pathak, Vineet Nahata and Ms Shilpi Arora, Director, KRIBHCO, were present during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, organiser Mukesh Gupta said the overwhelming audience response highlighted a growing appetite for quality Hindi theatre in the capital, reinforcing the case for hosting such festivals regularly in South Delhi.
