The National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories (NFCSF) convened a virtual brainstorming session to discuss directions of the Union Minister for Home and Cooperation on ensuring long-term sustainability of cooperative sugar mills, media reports say.
Chaired by senior officials and stakeholders, the meeting focused on actionable strategies to strengthen, expand and diversify mill operations in line with the government’s cooperative agenda.
Joint Secretary (Sugar) Ashwini Srivastava guided deliberations, while NFCSF MD Prakash Naiknavare said expert inputs would be consolidated. Around 100 participants, including NCDC, ministries, Deloitte and CEEW, joined the session.
