Former Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Anthony De Sa, Retd. IAS has been appointed as the new liquidator for Goa based Mapusa Urban Cooperative Bank.
The term period will be of two years and the liquidator has been asked to submit quarterly reports about progress of liquidation to the office of Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
De Sa has formally taken over the charge as the liquidator.
Readers would recall that the Bank was put under liquidation on 23.04.2020 wherein Daulat Anandrao Hawaldar, Retired IAS was appointed as the liquidator of the bank. The tenure of Hawaldar was completed on 23.04.2021.
