In his first participation as the newly appointed Managing Director of IFFCO, K. J. Patel attended the Board Meeting of the Jordan Phosphate Mining Company (JPMC) held at their Amman offices. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohammad K. Thneibat, who serves as both Chairman of JPMC and JIFCO.
This marked Mr. Patel’s inaugural engagement with the JPMC board following his appointment, signifying a fresh chapter in the longstanding partnership between IFFCO and JPMC.
The gathering also provided a fitting moment to bid farewell to Dr. U. S. Awasthi, IFFCO’s outgoing Managing Director, honoring his decades of dedicated service.
K.J. Patel assumed office as IFFCO’s MD effective July 31, 2025, succeeding Dr. U. S. Awasthi, who retired after completing a notable tenure, bringing over 32 years of expertise, particularly from his leadership at the Paradeep plant.
