In an exciting move, Union Minister Amit Shah revealed during a cooperative conference in Nashik on Friday, plans for the establishment of the Tribhuvan National Cooperative University in the upcoming budget session.
Named after the renowned Gujarat cooperative leader, Shri TribhuvanDas Patel, the university will be a hub for creating skilled professionals across multiple sectors.
The university’s goal will be to bolster the cooperative sector, which Shah believes will be key to fostering employment and economic growth.
Under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, the initiative aims to empower agriculture, rural communities, and youth, offering a pathway to prosperity for many, said Shah.
Shah expressed strong confidence in the role of cooperatives in shaping India’s future, especially in areas that have been historically underserved. This step marks a significant commitment to rural development and skill-building in the country.
