The Constitution of Nepal envisioned boosting the national economy through equal participation of public, private and cooperative sector, said Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal Krishna Bahadur Mahara in a two day National Workshop on “Cooperative Strengthening and Business Promotion” organized by Nepal Cooperative Federation in Kathmandu, Nepal last week.
NCF in cooperation with different stakeholders and cooperatives organized the workshop with about 350 participants from various organizations taking part in it.
On this occasion Dr. Yubaraj Khattiwada, Former Vice Chairman of National Planning Commission and Former Governor, Nepal Rastriya Bank addressed the meet and Dr. Khattiwada presented a technical paper on the topic “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Cooperatives”.
Defense Minister of Nepal Mr. Balkrishna Khand was also present on the occasion.
