An intensive five-day training programme on ‘Marketing Approaches in MMP under DTC-JICA’ was recently organised by the Mansinh Institute of Training, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). The programme brought together participants from Visakha Milk Producer Company and Pali Milk Union, aiming to strengthen their marketing expertise in the evolving dairy sector.
The sessions delved into diverse aspects of marketing, from understanding consumer expectations and estimating market size to managing booth channels and adapting to emerging marketing trends. Special focus was laid on effective customer complaint resolution systems.
Participants also explored the “8Ps of Marketing,” go-to-market strategies, processes for launching and relaunching products, sales and distribution of value-added dairy products, and efficient supply chain management. Brand-building principles and the essential elements of branding were discussed in depth, equipping attendees with actionable strategies to enhance their organisations’ market presence.
As part of the programme, participants visited the renowned Banas Dairy and Dudhsagar Dairy plants. These visits offered valuable insights into large-scale dairy operations and provided opportunities to interact with senior officials, exchange experiences, and gain practical knowledge.
