PTI reports National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and Ladakh administration have inked an MOU for carrying out a survey to explore the potential for dairying and rural livelihoods in the union territory.
The survey is expected to raise income of the rural population in the frontier area, NDDB is quoted saying in its release.
Supporting the UT Administration in its effort for dairy development NDDB claims it is strengthening the cooperative movement in the Ladakh region.
NDDB will raise an army of coordinators in the area to make the project a success.
