In a major boost to Telangana’s dairy cooperative sector, National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has signed a tripartite agreement with Nalgonda-Ranga Reddy Districts Milk Producers Mutually Aided Cooperative Union Limited for the long-term development and strengthening of dairy operations in the state.
Under the agreement, NDDB will manage and support the dairy’s development for the next 15 years. As an immediate relief measure, NDDB will release Rs 10 crore to clear pending dues of dairy farmers, bringing much-needed support to milk producers across the region.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Telangana Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Vakiti Srihari, Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah, senior state officials, and NDDB representatives.
Officials said the partnership is expected to modernise dairy infrastructure, improve milk procurement systems, and strengthen cooperative dairy farming in Telangana.
