The 19th meeting of National Cooperative Committee for Empowerment of Women of NCUI was organized at Chennai on Friday in the presence of the apex body of cooperatives President Dileepbhai Sanghani.
On this occasion, several discussions were held on attracting women to the cooperative movement and taking schemes of the Cooperation Ministry at the grassroot level to benefit them.
NCUI CE Sudhir Mahajan, Deputy CE Savitri Singh and women representing several co-operative bodies from Kashmir to Kanyakumari participated in the meeting.
