NCUI: Mishra avoids CE meeting on Inamdar

The general meeting called by Chief Executive of apex body NCUI N.Satyanarayan on Monday was attended by more than a dozen senior officers of NCUI. NCCT Secretary Mohan Mishra was however conspicuous by his absence.

On a query from Indian Cooperative the CE failed to explain Mishra’s absence.  “I can only say that I sent notice to each and every officer and who comes and who does not is not my concern”, said Satyanarayan.

The meeting saw participation in the discussion by Santosh Kumar Sharma, assigned with the job of writing book on Inamdar. Ved Prakash Setia, V K Dubey, Ritesh Dey, K N Sinha and several other veterans of NCUI expressed their views on the issue.

Presided by the CE , the Officers discussed at length on how to make the show a grand success.

It bears recall that Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has invited cooperative leaders from the apex body NCUI as well as others to discuss the issue of celebrations of birth centenary of late Shri Laxmanrao Inamdar.

Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation is planning to commemorate Inamdar’s centenary on September 21st at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.

NCUI and NCCT have major role cut-out for the occasion by the govt.
